Emilie Luckett (b. 1997) is an artist who lives and works in Colorado, USA. While she dabbled in many mediums, she found her passion in fiber arts, specifically with contemporary embroidery. In her professional work, Emilie focuses on the themes of nature, human experiences, and embodiment. Within that, she has a special interest in gender expression and explores the ideas empowerment, emotions, and perception. Outside of her finer art, Emilie also loves to work with pop culture, quotes, and other fun, quirky things.
Emilie has shown in galleries all around the Denver-Metro area, including DATELINE, Helikon Gallery, and with the Museum of Outdoor Arts. As well as this, Emilie is passionate about sharing her craft, and has taught workshops at the Denver Museum of Contemporary Art and ReCreative Denver.
Emilie is currently a student at Metropolitan State University of Denver working towards her bachelor’s degree in art history, theory, and criticism.
